Environment Management Program and Waste Management
This program raises the level of knowledge, comptencies and skills of the utility and water services management in the Republic of Croatia. This leads to greater efficiency of these companies, especially in the management of capital resources and costs, higher levels of customer satisfaction with their services, better use of available natural resources and environmental protection.
Environmental protection is one of the 35 thematic chapters of the acquis communautaire for the needs of negotiations for joining the European Union. By joining the EU, the Republic of Croatia has also taken on the obligations arising from the negotiation process. The Republic of Croatia has pledged to strengthen human capacities at all levels in the administrative and economic sectors related to environmental protection and waste management. Croatian legislation in the fields of environmental protection, working environment and responsible waste management requires the training of persons in charge of these areas within companies and administrative bodies.
Work safety, environmental protection and sustainable and sound management of waste are indispensable parts of the company’s responsible management. Such a company, while respecting the legal provisions, places the company on the market as a responsible company which respects and adopts the latest knowledge in the area of work safety, environmental protection and sustainable waste management and increases the value of its product on the market as well as the competitiveness of the company in the market game.

Program attendees will acquire the knowledge, competencies and skills needed to make strategic business decisions more efficiently. The program is divided into modules, and participants can enter one or more modules.
Total duration of the program: 80 hours
- Modul The EU and Croatia Environmental Protection Legislation Module – 20 hours
- Modul Integrated Environmental Management Module – 30 hours
- Modul Waste Management Module – 30 hours
Program Price:HRK 9 800,00 + VAT for all three modules.
