UNDERGRADUATE PROFESSIONAL STUDY OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP ECONOMICS

    Our students work for at least two years in their own student company! The University College is responsible for the costs of setting up and running each student company, and after completing the studies, students can continue to run the company independently as their own – we encourage self-employment! Each full-time student has their own mentor-professor with whom they work until the end of their study. All students are included in the IT support system – ZStudent. International cooperation with various institutions around the world has been realized through the Innovation Development Center EBUS (Erasmus+ program).

    After graduation, the students will be able to manage small and medium-sized enterprises.

    For full-time students, classes take place in the afternoon (starting at 17:00), two working days a week, and exercises takes place in the morning (starting at 09:00), two working days a week. The fifth working day is reserved for the practical part of the course (working at the student enterprise).

    Completed three year / four-year secondary school education – entrance exam. Completed secondary school education outside the Republic of Croatia – entrance exam.
    Additionally, GPA in all three / four grades – the average grade rating will be evaluated (30%).

    1. ZFor candidates who have completed four-year secondary school education and have passed the secondary school leaving examination (State Matura exam).

    1. Evaluation of success at State Matura exam:
      • Croatian language – basic level, level B (20%)
      • Mathematics – basic Level, Level B (20%)
      • Foreign language – basic level, level B (20%)
    2. Additional criteria:
      • secondary school GPA – average grade rating (30%)
      • motivational interview (10%)
    3. Special achievements:
      • national competitions, sports competitions – written proof of achievement (5%))

    2. Candidates who have completed three year / four-year secondary school education will undergo the entrance exam.

    1. Exam includes:
      • essay – offered three (3) topics in the field of economics (60%)
      • motivational interview (10%).

    Also, GPA in all three / four grades – average grade rating (30%) as well as state competitions, sports competitions – written proof of achievement (5%) will be evaluated.

    3. Candidates who have completed secondary education outside the Republic of Croatia will undergo the entrance exam at the European business school Zagreb.

    You can submit the documents by online subscription to ZStudent, by sending it to our address or in person. The requested documents are:

    • certificates of all grades of secondary school (original or certified copies)
    • certificate of secondary school final examination / State Matura exam (original or certified copy)
    • certificate of completion of the first semester of the final grade with the grade list and signature – only for secondary school senior students (copy)
    • birth certificate (copy)
    • national identity certificate (copy)
    • ID card (copy)
    • two photos – one sized 4×6 cm and the other sized 4×3 cm
    • proof of fee payment for the enrollment process HRK 400.00 (payment receipt).

    Terms of transition:

    • The transition to the first year of study can be realized by a student who has passed the entrance examination and is currently enrolled in another higher education institution.
    • The transition to the 2nd year of study can be realized by a student enrolled in the 2nd year of study at the higher education institution or has acquired 30 ECTS credits at the higher education institution from which he or she is transfering.
    • The transition to the 3rd year of study can be realized by a student who has one of these conditions:
      • completed a two-year study and completed higher education qualification
      • completed a two-year professional study, acquired the title of Bachelor as well as 120 ECTS credits
      • obtained the enrollment requirements for the third year of study at the higher education institution from which he or she is transfering
      • gained 90 ECTS credits at the higher education institution from which he or she is transfering.
    • Supplemental entrance exams are determined by the Commission for Transition. The students are required to pass the supplemental exams by the end of the current academic year and need to pay the costs of HRK 350.00 per exam. * When enrolling, students will also need to pay a one-time registration fee of HRK 240.00.

    Immediate enrollment in the third year of undergraduate professional studies Entrepreneurship Economics will be awarded to a candidate who has completed his or her studies and earned 120 ECTS. For candidates who fit the above stated conditions and have completed a non-related study, the following supplemental exams are required:

    • Economics I
    • Business Economics
    • Entrepreneurship.

    Supplemental entrance exams are determined by the Commission for Transition. The students are required to pass the suplemental exams by the end of the current academic year and need to pay the costs of HRK 350.00 per exam. * When enrolling, students will also need to pay a one-time registration fee of HRK 240.00.

    Full-time and part-time studies:

    • HRK 22,000.00 – for a single payment
    • HRK 24,000.00 – for a repayment by equal instalments (maximum of 10 instalments) and credit card payment

    Discounts awarded by the European business school Zagreb for students enrolling in the first year of study:

    • A discount of HRK 4.000,00 for all secondary school students, current or former students and attendants of any educational institution within Educational Group Zrinski (all of its members).
    • 10% discount for cities, municipalities, partners and businesses with which the Educational Group Zrinski has signed a cooperation agreement.
    • 10% discount for family members of a person who has a student status at European business school Zagreb. Members may be: parent, spouse, brother or sister.
    • The amount of HRK 21,000.00 tuition fee is appointed for areas of special state concern of the Republic of Croatia covered by this Law and for all inhabitants of Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem County.
