"As far as my experience goes it was as much exhilarating being in the Croatia as much as it was a great learning experience working in the Innovation and Development Centre Zrinski. It was really great to be a part of real life projects which make an actual effect in lives of people around you. I am really grateful for the given opportunity to work with projects which have a social value and give a sense of ownership in the projects we worked on. More importantly, it helped me understand how theoretical knowledge can be put into good practical projects having tangible implications. It would be an under-statement to say that the work ethic and the environment in the form of organizational culture is a highly comforting experience for any new comer. I had been helped completely through out my stay by way of mentoring I received within the work place and also I got all the help I needed in finding a foothold in a completely foreign country through the support of IDCZ team. Personally, out of my experience I would suggest that it is a great place for any aspiring person to work in the field of research and development .and more importantly they value your work more than anything."

"During my Erasmus placement at the Innovation and Development Centre Zrinski I had an amazing opportunity to gain experience in project management and team work. I participated in project application processes at different levels. Various tasks that I was allowed to take up show me how to work under pressure of time and requirements in different circumstances. Furthermore, I noticed the significant role of international point of view, exchanging and adapting good practice examples and mutual benefits of working overseas. Obviously, I use the natural benefits connected with working in a different country such as like language excellence in the professional area. In addition, I had a chance to observe and understand foreign culture due to a fact of long-term staying in particular place. The Team that I belonged to create appropriate conditions to get as much as possible from the placement as well as improve creativity. All in all, the period of time that I spent in Zagreb is a invaluable contribution to my further career, and enforce my development both in personal and professional way."

"My enormous passion for travelling induced me to take a chance of the Erasmus+ programme which enabled me to apply for the traineeship in the country located within the European Union. As I have never been in Croatia before, I have chosen that country as my internship destination and, due to my interests, project management as the field of my practice. Internship at University Collage of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Management Nikola Šubic Zrinski gave me the opportunity to get acquainted with the field of management of EU-funded projects. I got to know the subject of project activities such us planning, implementation and development of ongoing projects in the institution and learned a lot by practical tasks. My work was focused on participation in such processes, writing projects proposals for recent EU Calls and producing dissemination materials. I was also involved in the current administration work and office management. The team of Innovation and Development Centre Zrinski consists of young, motivated project managers. They were very helpful, patient, understandable and always willing to answer all of the questions that I had. I always felt like a regular team member, contributing to the whole by efficient and effective teamwork and cooperation. My colleagues treated me with respect and I knew my opinion mattered with the same value as others. Their English fluency made the work more competent and sufficient. Highly-motivated and goal-oriented people who work at Education Group Zrinski show excellent communication, creativity, wide competences that fulfil the requirements of European standards. Extensive knowledge on entrepreneurship and education of Zrinski’s staff contributes to the successful project management, possibilities and opportunities that can be reached and used within the European Union and productive activities in the international environment. My internship enabled me to develop my creativity, analytical skills and accuracy. It let my potential and enthusiasm for project management grow and helped me to understand some issues that I knew only from a theoretical point of view. My interests for this topic increased even more and proved me that I want to stay and grow in the profession. Two months in Croatia not only did it have a significant influence on my profile, but also let me to explore the country, Croatian culture and got to know a lot of amazing people. I had a chance to make a virtue of necessity, in other words, to combine my love and passion for travelling with the professional practice. I believe that experience that I gained in the Innovation and Development Centre Zrinski will have an impact on my future career and also increase my attractiveness on the job market. I am very thankful and grateful to everybody who showed their attention and interests to help the younger and less-experienced."
